Job summary

Hibbett Retail, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Florence, AL to lead all store departments and drive profitability.

You will supervise sales efforts, train associates, manage payroll and scheduling, and ensure excellent customer service and brand representation in the community. Responsibilities include achieving sales goals, maintaining inventory integrity, enforcing policies, and mentoring a team of Sales Associates, Assistant Managers, and trainees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in retail footwear/apparel.
• Experience in managing and cultivating a sales team.
• 3-5 years of customer service experience; 3+ years of management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical thinker with demonstrated business acumen.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and sales goals, focused on company growth.
• Manage and control the assets of the store.
• Directs and oversees sales efforts; train and mentor store associates.
• Monitor store performance, inventory, and expenses to drive profit.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager on policies, goals and procedures.
• Direct staff to complete responsibilities and standards in every department.
• Mentor and develop Sales Associates and Managers in Training.
• Oversee recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and payroll.
• Maintain security and partner with Asset Protection to reduce shrink.
• Communicate inventory movement and drive inventory goals.
• Contribute to marketing plans and stay aware of customer trends.
• Stay informed on competition and opportunities in the community.
• Deliver exceptional customer service per policy and assist during peak times.
• Protect assets and financial information through internal controls.
