Job summary

rag & bone in New York seeks a Store Manager to embody the brand culture, manage store operations, deliver best-in-class customer experiences, and drive profitable top-line sales growth. You will coach and develop all associates and managers to foster collaboration and a voice in policy and process.

You will recruit, onboard, train, and manage staff, partnering with the People Team to ensure smooth operations, payroll integrity, and data-driven strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of specialty retail experience, with 3+ years in store leadership.
• Strong clienteling and customer relationship management to grow a loyal clientele.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Track record of driving sales, profitability, and KPIs.
• Retail operations knowledge including payroll, scheduling, inventory, and loss prevention.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Display best-in-class customer service techniques and build client loyalty.
• Train staff on all store operations from register to stockroom.
• Ensure cash handling and register procedures are maintained.
• Oversee payroll procedures and store scheduling integrity.
• Delegate to ensure efficient store operations and develop team members.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development of staff.
• Provide regular feedback and coaching on performance.
• Resolve People and employee issues in collaboration with People Team.
