Job summary

rag & bone, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team in New York area. This role drives operations, customer experience and staff development, coaching supervisors and associates to deliver best-in-class service.

You will partner with store leaders to execute business plans, analyze sales trends, and maintain brand standards across clienteling, product knowledge and visual presentation for a premium customer base.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of retail experience in specialty, contemporary, or luxury environments.
• Minimum 1–2 years of management experience.
• Advanced clienteling skills with the ability to build and grow a loyal customer base.
• Proven ability to drive sales performance and achieve store KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Display best-in-class customer service techniques, build customer loyalty through clienteling standards and sales interactions.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform and train staff on all store operations tasks from register to stock room.
• Ensure cash handling and register procedures are maintained and executed.
• Ensure integrity of payroll procedures and store scheduling.
• Delegate to ensure efficiency of store operations and to develop team members.
• Coach and develop retail associates to meet store goals.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, training and development of all staff.
• Identify, create, and manage execution of store business plans to drive performance and opportunities.
• Analyze sales reports to determine needs and set strategies to achieve goals.
• Build customer loyalty; grow and manage clientele.
• Maintain product knowledge and relay to staff.
• Encourage team selling and brand consistency.
