Job summary

rag & bone is seeking a Store Manager in New York to represent the brand, elevate the customer experience, and drive profitable top-line growth across the store. You will coach and develop teams, manage all store operations, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and loss prevention while maintaining the brand’s lifestyle.

Collaboration with Visual Merchandising and Buying is expected to optimize product assortment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in specialty retail with store leadership experience.
• Proven ability to grow and retain a loyal clientele.
• Experience with performance management and coaching.
• Strong understanding of payroll, scheduling, inventory, and loss prevention.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Display best-in-class customer service and build client loyalty.
• Lead operations from register to stockroom and train staff.
• Maintain cash handling and register procedures.
• Oversee payroll, scheduling, and store staffing.
• Delegate to drive efficiency and develop team members.
• Coach retail associates to meet store goals.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding and development of staff.
• Provide regular feedback and address performance issues.
• Partner with People Team on hires and changes.
• Build candidate pipeline through networking and interviews.
• Analyze sales data to set strategies and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Visual Merchandising and Buying on assortment.
