Job summary

Bath & Body Works in Oklahoma is seeking a Store Manager to lead outstanding associates and deliver exceptional customer experiences daily. You will oversee hiring, coaching, and performance management while driving sales and store operations to meet targets.

As a front-line leader, you will create connections with customers, model our values, and ensure safety and visual standards are maintained. This role requires flexibility for peak shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in a store/retail management role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to train and coach associates.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, and retain top talent including the store leadership team (SLT).
• Set and reinforce clear and concise performance expectations, results goals, and accountability with all associates through effective and fair leadership.
• Responsible for owning and delegating leadership tasks to address customer experience, vendor relationship, or maintenance issues.
• Partner with the SLT to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
• Implement and sustain floorset direction to optimize the business and bring the product story to life.
• Perform opening and closing routines including execution of bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and interpret/disseminate company directives.
• Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
• Provide individual and team performance feedback.
• Meet payroll targets by ensuring appropriate sales floor coverage and maintaining a selling focus.
• Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through demonstrating and modeling selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and elevated product knowledge.
• Create genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations.
• Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and the customer experience.
• Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates.
• All store positions require constant physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting.
• Associates are expected to climb ladders, lift, reach, bend, and kneel to obtain products for customers and to maintain the visual appearance of the store.
• Associates should be able to lift 10 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds.
• Consistently provide the most safe, clean, and engaging experience by adhering to all safety standards and expectations.
• Maintain our values, policies, and procedures.
