Job summary

Bath & Body Works seeks a Store Manager to lead and develop outstanding associates while delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving store growth. You will lead the store leadership team, set performance expectations, and ensure execution of operational plans to optimize selling and brand presence.

The role requires 2+ years in a manager position within retail, a strong focus on customer-first selling, and the ability to coach and motivate teams.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent including the store leadership team (SLT).
• Set and reinforce clear performance expectations, results goals, and accountability with all associates through effective and fair leadership.
• Own and delegate leadership tasks to address customer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
• Partner with SLT to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
• Implement and sustain floorset direction to optimize the business and bring the product story to life.
• Perform opening and closing routines including bank deposits, shipment receipt, and disseminate company directives.
• Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
• Provide individual and team performance feedback.
• Meet payroll targets by ensuring appropriate sales floor coverage and selling focus.
• Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and product knowledge.
• Create genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs and personalized recommendations.
• Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and customer experience.
• Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability.
