Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide proper training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; identify gaps for solutions and counseling.
• Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings and events.
• Ensure store is appropriately staffed and opened/closed each day.
• Evaluate operating statements to identify business trends and opportunities.
• Order to meet in-stock targets; manage inventory issues weekly.
• Facilitate staging, stocking and storage of merchandise according to processes.
• Maintain merchandise presentation, pricing and signage.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and cash control.
