Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions to generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to labor laws and company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide proper training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; identify gaps for solutions or counseling.
• Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings to ensure safety and policies.
• Open/close store as needed, with minimum two times per week.
• Evaluate operating statements to identify trends and opportunities; monitor shrink and errors.
• Manage stock and ordering to meet in-stock targets and review weekly planning.
• Facilitate staging, stocking, and storage of merchandise.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure financial integrity through cash controls.
• Provide superior customer service leadership and maintain a clean, safe store environment.
