Job summary

La-Z-Boy Lake Charles is seeking a dynamic Store Manager to lead our sales team, drive growth, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. This full-time, commission-only role offers significant earning potential for a high-performing leader.

You will manage day-to-day operations, train staff, monitor performance, and collaborate with other departments to ensure exceptional service. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, preferably in furniture/retail.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Relocation willingness within a 27-store network.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Provide hands-on training and coaching to sales associates, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, implementing strategies to drive improvement.
• Engage with customers, providing expert advice and personalized service to close sales.
• Oversee the sales floor, ensuring it is well-organized and stocked with merchandise.
• Execute sales promotions, events, and marketing campaigns to attract and retain customers.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other store departments for seamless operations and service delivery.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activities.
• Maintain accurate sales records, prepare reports, and provide regular feedback to senior management.
