Job summary

Burlington Stores in Massachusetts is seeking a Store Manager to lead all store operations and deliver a world-class shopping experience. You will mentor and coach a team of managers and associates, enforce policies, and act as a strong partner to regional leadership to drive sales and execute company initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience using scheduling and reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to implement company policies and initiatives.
• Recruitment, screening and hiring of associates to meet staffing needs.
• Partner with Merchandising and Operations to coordinate merchandise placement, promotions, and inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and model Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales volume and expense budget including reporting and record-keeping.
• Facilitate onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching for all team members.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Payroll budget management and scheduling.
• Communicate effectively with store team, district and regional management and partners.
