Job summary

Burlington Stores in New Hampshire seeks a Store Manager to lead all store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will mentor Assistant Managers, Supervisors and Associates, manage budgets, and uphold our store standards and values.

You will own day-to-day merchandising, operations and service management, ensure staffing, and partner with district leaders to achieve goals. This role requires adaptability and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure policy compliance.
• Partner with merchandising to coordinate merchandise placement, promotions and pricing.
• Oversee receiving, transfers, RTVs, and inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) and lead with Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales and expense budget, including reporting and records.
• Recruitment, screening and hiring of associates; onboarding and coaching.
• Payroll budgeting, workforce management and scheduling.
• Foster effective communication across store, district and regional teams.
