Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure implementation of policies and initiatives.
• Partner with Assistant Store Manager, Merchandising to coordinate merchandise placement, promotions and pricing.
• Partner with Assistant Store Manager, Operations to review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, returns-to-vendor (RTVs), and chargeback paperwork.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD); lead by example, set the standard, and model SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales volume and expense budget including reporting and record-keeping.
• Recruitment, screening and hiring of associates to meet staffing needs.
• Facilitate onboarding and training, coaching, and structured development for all team members.
• Payroll budget management, workforce management and scheduling.
• Facilitate effective communication and partnerships among store, district and regional teams.
