Cult Gaia is seeking a Store Manager for the South Coast Plaza location, opening in June. This role leads the sales team, drives store profitability, and partners with HQ to elevate the customer experience. The ideal candidate trains staff, maintains brand standards, and builds a loyal client base.

Responsibilities include achieving sales goals, staffing the store, monitoring results, and ensuring exceptional customer service. A passion for fashion and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of retail management or comparable experience.
• Superior client, product awareness, and ability to match this knowledge to customers’ needs.
• Proven ability to drive loyalty-building, positive and inclusive customer experiences.
• Computer literacy and a competent understanding of e-commerce.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• A high-energy team player with organizational and project management skills and ability to work independently.
• Detail-oriented problem solver.
• Experience meeting retail goals and other financial targets.
• Demonstrated experience training employees.
• Actively gets tasks done with urgency.
• Organized with strong time management to deliver impact.
• Strong interest in fashion and knowledge of industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Meet personal and store sales goals.
• Ensure retail store is accurately staffed.
• Assist in tracking, monitoring, and communicating business results.
• Develop and maintain long-lasting client relationships by establishing a returning client base.
• Contribute to monthly sales at a minimum of 20%.
• Maintain KPI above company standard and develop staff to do the same.
• Satisfy company KPI requirements.
• Ensure customers receive outstanding service.
• Maintain an active sales floor presence to coach staff in client relationships.
• Ensure brand image and grooming standards reflect Cult Gaia.
• Implement all merchandising directives to company standard.
• Monitor front and back of house organization and upkeep.
• Encourage associates to take ownership of their sales performance.
• Know and execute daily opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with receipt of shipment, recalls, OMNI orders, and back-of-house organization.
