Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Store Manager to lead our Inside and Outside Sales teams and take P&L responsibility for the service center. You will develop customer relationships across diverse industrial sectors and drive growth through strategic planning, coaching, and operational excellence.

The role requires field engagement with customers and hands-on leadership to deliver sales results while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3 years of proven B2B outside industrial sales experience.
• Leadership experience in building and mentoring teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly.
• Problem solving, multitasking and sense of urgency.
• Solid computer skills and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall service center activities including profitability and growth.
• Oversee inside and outside sales and service programs.
• Hire, train and develop a high performing team.
• Lead training for sales expertise and product knowledge.
• Develop and implement sales activities, territory management and margins.
• Identify new customers and market opportunities.
• Maximize sales and expand market share.
• Handle personal assigned accounts as required.
• Create a positive, dynamic and fun work environment.
