Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two or more years in a leadership/managerial role.
• Two or more years in a retail grocery environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with merchandising and stocking according to standards.
• Support inventory management, damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Model company policies and SOPs.
• Participate in store opening and closing activities.
• Assist in cash handling controls and cash deposits.
• Maintain secure cash handling and loss prevention practices.
• Help maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked stores.
• Operate the store in the manager’s absence.
• Review operating statements for trends and opportunities.
• Complete paperwork per guidelines and deadlines.
