Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret diagrams, safety rules and procedures.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic and percentage calculations.
• Knowledge of cash handling and deposit controls.
• Familiar with cash register functions and report generation.
• Understanding of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Awareness of safety and facility control policies.
• Experience in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Aid store merchandising, staging, stocking, and pricing per guidelines.
• Support inventory management, damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Help meet in-stock targets through proper ordering practices.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Follow company procedures and policies in handbook and SOPs.
• Participate in store opening and closing activities.
• Ensure safe deposit of company funds and cash controls.
• Assist in maintaining clean, well-stocked stores and safe environment.
• Operate store in the manager's absence and review operating statements.
