Job summary

Cumberland Farms, Inc. is seeking a Managers In Training candidate to learn day-to-day management of a Cumberland Farms convenience store location.

You will train with managers, work varied shifts, and support the Store Manager and team in delivering an exceptional guest shopping experience. Ideal candidates have 1 year retail or food experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or GED.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year retail or food experience.
• Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant, in a leadership role.
• Preferred Licenses/Certifications: ServSafe /Food Safety certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and a smile, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team through training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor and ensure 100% in-stock at all times.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety programs in locations that offer hot food.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance inside and outside the store, including coffee and food service areas.
• Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager or District Manager.
