Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is launching a Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager role. The program combines self-paced, collaborative training over 16 weeks with both virtual and hands-on experiences.

You will be supported by your District Leader, HR Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach as you develop leadership capabilities and merchandising, customer service, and inventory management skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Provide high levels of customer service.
• Execute merchandising strategies to drive store sales growth.
• Manage store inventory and assets to protect profitability.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the 16‑week SMIT program and develop leadership skills.
• Engage with District Leader, HRBP, and Store Manager coach during training.
• Support store operations and merchandising to promote customer satisfaction.
• Be prepared for promotion to Store Manager within the designated market.
• Flexibility to transfer to CVS Pharmacy stores within the market as needed.
