Job summary

Certified Oil Company is seeking a proactive Managers In Training candidate to join our growing retail team. You will support the Store Manager, lead a developing store crew, and gain hands-on experience across operations, training, and guest service.

You will rotate through shifts to learn about the business, vendors, and guest experience, with growth opportunities as part of our bench leadership team.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or GED.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year retail or food experience.
• Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant, in a leadership role.
• Preferred Licenses/Certifications and Skills: ServSafe /Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a warm welcome and a smile, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team through training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor and ensure 100% in-stock availability.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety programs where applicable.
• Keep the store clean and stocked, including coffee and food service areas, bathrooms, and overall appearance.
• Operate the cash register efficiently.
• In locations with hot food, assist with food safety and merchandising guidelines and perform other duties as assigned.
