Job summary

Cumberland Farms is seeking a Manager in Training to learn day-to-day operations of a Cumberland Farms convenience store. You will work with Training Managers and Supervising Managers across shifts to understand the business, our team, vendors, and guests, supporting the Store Manager and other team members to deliver an exceptional guest shopping experience.

Role offers growth opportunities with our bench leadership team as you progress through training and assume store responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or GED.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year retail or food experience.
• Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant, in a leadership role.
• Preferred Licenses/Certifications and Skills: ServSafe /Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a warm welcome and a smile and deliver exceptional Customer Service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team: training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor and keep stock full.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety in locations with hot food.
• Maintain store appearance and cleanliness inside and outside, including coffee station and restrooms.
• Operate the cash register efficiently and perform duties as assigned by management.
