Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Store Manager in Training to support day-to-day sales, appearance and operations. The role prepares you for a future management position in another store or location, with strong emphasis on leadership, safety, and customer service.

You will work across professional and retail teams, participate in hiring and coaching, and contribute to KPI monitoring, P&L reviews, and daily store performance. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.
• ASE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise professional and retail operations of store and team members.
• Oversee recruitment, testing, interviewing, evaluating, and promotion decisions with district/store managers.
• Train new team members and conduct performance evaluations.
• Assist in hiring tasks by coordinating interviews and candidate assessments.
• Support safety compliance and staff training across the store.
• Make sales calls and schedule weekly customer calls as needed.
• Maintain delivery fleet records and keep store neat and organized.
• Monitor gross profit components and review KPI dashboards daily.
