Job summary

Walgreens is seeking candidates for an accelerated Store Manager development program designed to prepare leaders for full store operations across front-end and pharmacy. Under the Store Manager, you will observe and assist in leading the store during your learning journey, with rotations to other area stores.

The program includes classroom and on-the-job training, obtaining required certifications, and development plans with District and Director oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Learn Walgreens' operations and ways of working to lead one-box full store operations across front-end and pharmacy.
• Under Store Manager, oversee the operation (front-end and pharmacy) of the Walgreens store.
• Shadow or assist Store Manager in leading store throughout the learning journey.
