Job summary

Walgreens is seeking candidates for an accelerated Learning and Development program to prepare future Store Managers. You will shadow the Store Manager across front-end and pharmacy operations, complete rigorous training, and rotate through local stores to meet development objectives.

You will gain proficiency in SOPs, pharmacy procedures, and customer service excellence while pursuing required certifications and leadership competencies under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of retail management experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens assets within the same hiring area.
• Pursues relevant certifications as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Store Manager to gain experience supervising front-end and pharmacy operations.
• Attend classroom, online, and on-the-job training with rotations in other stores.
• Support customer experience by coaching staff and resolving issues.
• Analyze store performance data and implement action plans to improve results.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and health and safety regulations.
• Develop people management skills and participate in performance conversations.
