Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated Store Manager development track to immerse you in full store operations, including front-end and pharmacy. You will rotate through learning activities across stores, attend classroom and on-the-job training, and build competencies under a structured development plan.

You will shadow the Store Manager, complete required certifications, and develop skills in operations, customer experience, inventory, and people management to readiness for a Store Manager role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept assignment into a Store Manager position, if an assignment is offered.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation (front-end and pharmacy) of a Walgreens store under the direction of the Store Manager.
• Shadow the Store Manager to gain experience and lead store operations during the learning journey.
• Engage customers and patients, resolving issues to ensure a positive experience and build loyalty.
• Learn and implement SOPs across front-end and pharmacy, gaining knowledge of systems and software.
• Assist in planning and executing store initiatives to improve performance and customer service.
