Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager in training to learn full store operations across front‑end and pharmacy and complete an accelerated development track to Store Manager within the planned timeframe.

The program includes classroom, online, and on‑the‑job training with rotations to gain hands‑on experience across stores. You will shadow the Store Manager, supervise shifts, and develop leadership, compliance, and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Requires fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Bachelor’s degree and/or HS diploma with retail management experience as stated.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front‑end and pharmacy operations under Store Manager.
• Lead and shadow Store Manager in opening/closing, merchandising, and task delegation.
• Support store operations by shadowing or assisting the Store Manager across the learning journey.
• Learn and implement SOPs across front‑end and pharmacy; gain knowledge of all systems.
• Analyze performance data and contribute to improving sales and controlling costs.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on customer experience improvements and staff development.
