Assist store manager in areas of sales, appearance, and overall operations of the store. The objective is to receive hands-on training to prepare for a management position in another store or future location.

Essential Job Functions
- Supervise the professional and retail operations of the store and team members involved, including delivery and installer service specialists, parts and merchandising specialists.
- Responsible for supervising all team members assigned to the store/HUB store, working with district and store managers on recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining, and discharging staff.
- Communicate all relevant information from team meetings to staff.
- Train new team members and handle performance evaluations, including recommending pay increases.
- Assist in recruiting by participating in interviews and evaluating candidates.
- Support store safety compliance and training, working with the management team.
- Make sales calls with or without the store manager, potentially on a weekly schedule.
- Support store operations as assigned, including fleet maintenance and store organization.
- Learn to manage key components of gross profit, monitor customer returns, review price matches, and analyze KPIs and P&L statements.
Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities
Required:
- High School Diploma
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Completion of Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program
- Ability to quickly and accurately match numerical and alpha characters
- Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment, and systems
Desired:
- Experience in O’Reilly store and/or distribution center
- Completed management training program
- Advanced computer skills
- ASE Certification
- Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish
