Job summary

Journeys is seeking a store manager to lead a high-energy team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will recruit, train and supervise staff, drive sales, control expenses and protect company assets while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, hiring top talent, coaching performance, enforcing policies, scheduling, and ensuring loss prevention practices are followed.

Qualifications

• Prior retail management experience preferred.
• 1–2 years retail sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Desire to succeed in fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to work 45 hours per week.
• Ability to work night and weekend shifts.
• Must be at least 18 years of age. Age requirements for full-time employment may vary based on state.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals and standards of performance.
• Recruit, interview, and hire high-caliber employees with in-store needs.
• Train and develop a successful sales team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees by enforcing company policies and practices.
• Ensure all company initiatives are implemented to standard.
