Job summary

Journeys is seeking a Store Manager in Training/Co-Manager to support the Store Manager and drive sales and store performance. You will help recruit, hire, train, and lead a high-performing team while protecting company assets.

You will play a key role in meeting store goals, coaching staff, and ensuring adherence to company policies. The role requires a willingness to work 45 hours per week, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail management experience preferred.
• 6–12 months retail sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Desire to succeed in fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals and standards of performance.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring of high calibre employees.
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees by enforcing policies.
• Ensure that all company initiatives are properly implemented and aligned with company direction.
• Recognize talented staff and develop them for growth within the company.
• Supervise and manage all aspects of daily store operations in the absence of Store Manager and MIT.
• Resolve customer issues effectively and provide a fun, full-service experience.
