Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations and drive profitability across one or more retail locations. You will oversee sales, customer service, and staff, while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

The role requires strong leadership, cash handling experience, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Travel within the district and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales, customer service, and cash handling experience.
• 1+ year supervisory experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Must have own reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting all options for products and/or services to customers that meet their needs.
• Interact with customers, using active listening skills, to confirm or clarify information and diffuse customer complaints.
• Escalate issues to the District Director of Operations (DDO) and Corporate Office if unable to resolve the issue directly with the customer.
• Respond professionally and accurately to customers in response to general questions, applications, requests, sales, courtesy, and collection calls per regulations and procedures.
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins; manage cash drawer and deposits; may handle bank deposits or pickups.
• Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications to validate information presented.
• Process all transactions per policy, including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend.
• Comply with federal and state regulations and company policies.
• Complete compliance trainings and timely I Agree confirmations.
• Coordinate operations, development, and training to achieve metrics.
• Maintain staff schedule and coverage across district stores.
• Support staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales culture.
• Assist District Director with recruiting, selection, and onboarding of Assistant Store Managers.
