Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily operations and profitability of one or more retail locations.

You will lead site operations, sales, customer service, and store leadership, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. You will educate customers on products, manage cash handling, and supervise staff while coordinating district-wide requirements and training to achieve performance targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience with sales, customer service, and cash handling.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, work autonomously, and provide store level leadership.
• Must have own transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio and present options to meet customer needs.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and diffuse complaints.
• Escalate issues to higher management when needed.
• Respond professionally to questions, applications, requests, and sales in accordance with regulations and procedures.
• Handle currency and cash deposits; manage cash drawer and bank deposits as required.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications and process transactions per policy (loans, check cashing, Net Spend).
• Comply with federal and state regulations and company policies.
• Complete compliance trainings and quarterly I Agree timely.
• Coordinate operations and training to hit metric targets.
• Maintain staff schedules and cover other stores in the district.
• Assist in recruiting, selection, and onboarding of Assistant Store Managers.
• Other duties as assigned.
