Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, maximize profitability, and deliver excellent customer service across our retail locations in the district. You will manage sales, staff, and store performance to meet targets while ensuring policy compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, cash handling, and communication skills, with travel within the district and the ability to recruit and onboard junior store staff. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years experience in sales, customer service, and cash handling.
• 1+ year supervisory experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting options that meet their needs.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and resolve concerns.
• Escalate issues to the District Director of Operations when needed.
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins and manage a cash drawer and deposits.
• Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications and process transactions per company policy.
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate operations, development, and training to achieve store metrics.
• Maintain staff schedules and cover other stores within the district.
• Assist in recruiting, selection, and onboarding of Assistant Store Managers.
