Waters Hardware- Garnett is seeking a Store Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, drive sales, manage expenses, and lead a motivated team. You will model outstanding customer service, ensure excellent merchandising, and maintain safety and store standards while representing our locally owned business in the community.

You will supervise hiring, training, scheduling, and performance coaching, coordinate promotions, and protect inventory through disciplined stock management and loss prevention

Responsibilities

• Model excellent customer service and assist customers as needed.
• Oversee daily opening and closing of the store.
• Supervise interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisal, and scheduling.
• Foster teamwork to deliver outstanding service and business success.
• Respond to customer complaints promptly and resolve them.
• Maintain inventory levels and perform cycle counts.
• Coordinate promotions, marketing, and events.
• Direct merchandising and ensure clean, organized store with proper signage.
• Keep sales floor clean and orderly.
• Participate in weekly merchandise ordering and manage deliveries.
• Model safety and enforce store policies and safety standards.
• Protect inventory and store property from loss per policy.
