Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its thrift store. You will assist the Store Manager in daily operations, supervise staff, and help drive sales while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming shop floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years retail experience (thrift experience a plus).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Basic computer proficiency including POS systems.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Oversee staff training and supervision as assigned.
• Support store maintenance, safety, and cleanliness.
• Assist with banking and record-keeping procedures.
• Help meet production and sales goals and manage expenses.
• Communicate with Store Manager about all store aspects.
