Job summary

The Pep Boys Manny Moe & Jack LLC in Florida is seeking a Store Manager to oversee service labor, parts and fleet sales, while delivering superior customer service and maintaining shop productivity.

You will recruit, hire, develop and inspire the service selling and back shop teams, ensure safety and compliance, and drive operational excellence through coaching, performance management and effective communication with customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in automotive service environment.
• Completion of a two-year college, technical program, or 1–3 years in service industry with at least 1 year supervisory experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Knowledge of basic math for commissions and discounts.
• Experience as a work lead or supervisor.
• Ability to work days, nights, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Direct, instruct, and manage a team of associates, including supervising and appraising work.
• Maintain store productivity and compliance with policies and safety codes.
• Ensure customer service standards and satisfaction programs are followed.
• Train and coach staff on Customer Care Process and CVIs.
• Oversee staffing, recruitment, and talent development.
• Monitor shop productivity, workflow, and back shop operations.
• Manage POS transactions, inventory integrity, and procurement practices.
