Job summary

Pep Boys in the United States is seeking a Store Manager to lead service labor, parts and fleet sales, and ensure exceptional customer service through in-store execution of programs and standards. The role includes maintaining shop productivity, safety, and compliance.

The Store Manager will recruit, hire, develop, and inspire the service selling and back shop teams, while directing opening/closing duties, POS transactions, and vendor relationships. Strong leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience in automotive service environment preferred.
• 2-year college or technical program completed or 1-3 years service industry experience with 1 year supervisory
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Direct, instruct, and manage a team of associates; supervise and appraise work.
• Oversee productivity, profitability, and safety in store operations.
• Train and coach staff on customer care processes and service operations.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and promote internal and external candidates.
• Manage opening/closing responsibilities and incident resolution.
