Job summary

Pep Boys in Prattville, AL is seeking a Store Manager to lead service labor, parts, and fleet sales while delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining productive shop operations.

You will recruit, coach, and develop service teams, ensure safety and compliance, and drive growth through strong leadership and hands-on supervision. This is a safety-sensitive role with flexible hours including days, nights, weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in automotive service environment.
• 1–3 years service industry experience with at least 1 year supervisory experience.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Direct, instruct, and manage a team of associates; supervise and appraise work; address associate concerns and resolve problems.
• Oversee productivity, profitability, and safety; ensure back shop operations and CVIs.
• Coach service selling associates on Customer Care Process and store systems.
• Maintain staffing at optimal levels; recruit and interview external and internal candidates.
• Manage POS transactions, cash handling, and warranty/policy compliance.
• Partner with Fleet team to develop Fleet service relationships.
