Job summary

Total Tool, a NEFCO company, is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a team across Counter Sales, Warehouse, and Delivery. You will mentor staff, maintain strong product knowledge, and ensure efficient operations on the sales floor and in the warehouse.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of management experience, strong communication skills, and a readiness to promote a safe, productive work environment within a branch setting in Des Moines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience required.
• Experience mentoring and coaching a team of employees.
• Construction or industrial experience preferred.
• Strong communication and team-connectivity skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach, evaluate, and manage branch employees in Counter Sales, Warehouse, and Delivery Driver roles.
• Foster a customer-focused environment through strong product knowledge and service standards.
• Ensure sales floor and warehouse are well-stocked, organized, clean, and efficient.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, and daily cycle counts.
• Monitor performance, address issues, and recruit top talent.
• Lead by example by performing store functions as needed.

What You Will Do

• Hire, train, coach, evaluate, and manage branch employees in Counter Sales, Warehouse, and Delivery Driver roles.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm.

Requirements

What You Will Need to Succeed:

• Experience managing, mentoring and coaching a team of employees.
• 3+ years of previous management experience is required.
• Construction or industrial experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to keep your team informed and connected.
• Highly motivated.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software.
