Job summary

Total Tool, a NEFCO company, is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily branch operations, lead a high-performing team, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff across Counter Sales, Warehouse, and Delivery roles while ensuring the sales floor and warehouse stay well-stocked, organized, and safe.

3+ years of management experience in construction or industrial settings is preferred; strong communication and a hands-on leadership approach are

• 3+ years of management experience required.
• Experience coaching and mentoring a team.
• Construction or industrial experience preferred.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Ability to learn new software and proficient with computers.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach, evaluate, and manage branch employees in Counter Sales, Warehouse, and Delivery Driver roles.
• Foster a customer-focused environment through strong product knowledge, service standards, and consistent customer engagement.
• Ensure sales floor and warehouse are well-stocked, organized, clean, and operating efficiently.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, and daily cycle counts.
• Monitor performance, address issues, and actively recruit top talent.
• Lead by example by performing all store functions as needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment and promote daily employee engagement and development.

What You Will Do:

As Store Manager, you oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, leading and developing a high-performing team while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm.

Requirements

What You Will Need to Succeed:

• Experience managing, mentoring and coaching a team of employees.
• 3+ years of previous management experience is required.
• Construction or industrial experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to keep your team informed and connected.
• Highly motivated.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software.
