Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is looking for a team-oriented individual to oversee restaurant operations in Biddeford, Maine. The successful candidate will spend most of their time on the floor, working closely with the team, while also executing necessary office work.

You will be responsible for hiring, training, and developing team members while ensuring the restaurant meets safety and sanitation standards. The position offers health insurance, paid vacation, personal days, and potential bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, retains, and develops team members.
• Work on the floor with the team 75% of the time; 25% will be office work.
• Ensures all employee training is completed.
• Executes team service through effective role modeling, scheduling, cross training, and employee coaching.
• Ensure the restaurant meets safety and sanitation standards, inside and outside the store.
• Empowers the team to handle all Guest concerns calmly and with a sense of urgency.
• Recognizes team members for demonstrating desired behavior and performance.
• Maintains appropriate staffing levels to meet business needs and ensures all shifts are appropriately staffed.
• Communicates Guest feedback and engages the team in action plans to resolve issues.
• Treats all team members fairly and with respect.
• Executes development plans for talented team members to grow their career.
• Executes effective ordering as well as hiring and scheduling to meet weekly/monthly budgets per store.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Exceptional organization and leadership skills.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Overall operations of the Restaurant.
