Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is building a world of health by developing Store Manager In Training (SMIT) candidates into future CVS Store Managers. The program blends virtual and hands-on learning over 16 weeks, guided by a District Leader, HRBP, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach.

SMITs focus on leadership development, customer care, and merchandising, with responsibilities spanning store operations, inventory control, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication to support and lead the team.
• Perform customer care duties to provide high levels of service.
• Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
• Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.
• High school diploma or GED required; four-year college degree preferred or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with your leader in learning experiences to support promotion during the 16-week program.
• Support the store as a management team member and lead in CVS values and policies.
• Engage colleagues in supporting the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
• Be willing to accept promotion roles within the designated market.
