Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Store Manager In Training (SMIT) to develop into a CVS Store Manager. The SMIT program provides a 16-week, self-paced and collaborative training path with virtual and hands-on experiences guided by the District Leader, HR Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach.

You will learn leadership fundamentals, merchandising execution, customer care, and inventory control while supporting store profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience.
• Retail management experience or CVS Supervisor experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead the team through effective communication.
• Perform customer care duties to provide high levels of service.
• Execute merchandising strategies to grow store sales.
• Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.
• Be prepared to transfer to other CVS stores within the designated market.
• Work a schedule that may vary based on business needs.
