Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc. is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join the Store Leader team in a trainee program. This role focuses on developing leadership skills, supervising store staff, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will support merchandising campaigns, promote the loyalty program, manage cash and fuel transactions, and ensure health and safety standards are met across the store. A strong emphasis on internal promotion is noted in the program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required if you have 1+ year of Retail Management experience.
• Valid Driver’s License from the state of residence and ongoing automobile liability insurance.
• Ability to multi-task and supervise store employees with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer service leadership alongside the Store Leader for all store staff.
• Identify qualified applicants, develop leaders, empower employees, and improve retention.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Handle cash, fuel transactions, and promote loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe store by following health and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively and use MS Office for reporting.
