Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a Store Manager Trainee to lead store operations and develop a high-performing team. Starting wage is $27.25 per hour with a clear path to store leadership through hands-on experience across stocking, merchandising, customer service, and standards adherence.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment and prior management experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports to ensure desired results; leads and develops store personnel.
• Develops and implements action plans using company provided resources to improve operating results.
• Oversees appropriate resolution of employee and customer concerns, aligning with the district manager, as needed.
• Interviews candidates for store positions and provides recommendations to the district manager.
• Manages personnel, including recommending personnel for advancement and termination as appropriate.
• Communicates with ALDI personnel, customers, vendors and partners at all levels.
• Leads, develops, and supervises the team to develop sales, engage our teams, satisfy customers and achieve high performance.
• Plans and conducts meetings such as store team meetings, monthly management meetings and training sessions.

Education
