ALDI USA is seeking a Store Manager Trainee in Minnesota to lead daily store operations, stock, merchandising, and customer service while developing a high‑performing team.

Starting wage $29.50 per hour with an earning potential of $83,000–$101,000 in year one, including salary and bonus where applicable; travel within divisional requirements. This role offers industry‑leading training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old required.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail and management experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Communicates responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports to ensure results.
• Leads and develops store personnel and implements action plans to improve results.
• Oversees resolution of employee and customer concerns with district manager guidance.
• Interviews candidates for store positions and recommends advancement decisions.
• Manages personnel including promotions and terminations as appropriate.
• Interacts effectively with ALDI personnel, customers, vendors and partners.
• Collaborates to resolve store issues and minimize liability for the division and company.
• Leads and supervises the team to drive sales and high performance.
• Models company values and executes the overarching strategy within the store.
• Fosters a positive, collaborative working environment and teamwork.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.
• Trains and develops store personnel for maximum potential.
• Evaluates performance and delivers feedback and coaching.
• Ensures customer service guidelines are followed in interactions with customers and coworkers.
• Resolves concerns or escalates to district manager as needed.
• Ensures safety by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment.
• Prepares and revises weekly schedules for accuracy.
• Adheres to expense, inventory, product handling, and cash policies.
• Maintains store zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Drives store KPI goals and budgets through operational plans.
• Participates in district calls, meetings, and training sessions.
• Plans and conducts store team and management meetings and events.
