Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc. is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team in Austin, TX. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, coaching staff, and driving store performance alongside the Store Leader.

You will participate in merchandising programs, oversee cash handling and loyalty promotions, and help recruit and develop team members while maintaining a clean, safe, in-stock store environment. A strong communicator with frontline experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Oversee customer service leadership alongside the Store Leader.
• Focus on identifying qualified applicants and developing leaders.
• Assist in merchandising and marketing program implementation.
• Cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment and ensure in-stock products.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• HS diploma or GED preferred; not required with 1 year retail management experience.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
• Ability to multi-task and lift up to 50 pounds.
