7-Eleven is hiring a Retail Assistant Manager to join our management team in Texas. You will provide customer service leadership, train staff, and coach team members alongside the Store Leader to deliver excellent service daily.

The role emphasizes talent development, merchandising execution, cash handling, and loyalty program promotions, with health coverage, 401k, and bonus potential included. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with prior retail management experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
• Proven ability to oversee customer service and lead a team.
• Experience implementing merchandising and marketing programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching with the Store Leader for all store employees.
• Identify and develop qualified applicants, retain talent, empower employees, and drive productivity.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs across the store.
• Handle cash transactions, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment complying with health and sanitation procedures.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Utilize computer systems, including Word and Excel, effectively.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED if lacking extensive management experience; valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to multi-task, stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
