Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Store Manager In Training (SMIT) to develop into a CVS Store Manager. The SMIT program is designed to enhance leadership capabilities through a structured 16-week learning path with both virtual and hands-on experiences.

You will work with a district leader, HR partner, Training Store Manager, and your Store Manager coach to grow management and customer service skills, merchandising, and operational excellence across CVS Pharmacy stores.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree required/preferred.
• Retail management experience or CVS supervisor experience.
• Willing to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market.
• Ability to work a schedule varying with business needs.
• Four-year college degree preferred (may be substituted with relevant experience).

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support your path to promotion during the structured program.
• Support your store as a management team member and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies.
• Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
• Be willing to accept promotion roles with the market you work in.
