Job summary

Buckle is seeking an Assistant in Training and Assistant Manager to lead day-to-day store operations and drive guest service excellence. You will work with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales, recruit Teammates, and provide leadership in their absence.

The role evolves from AIT with additional high-level duties, focusing on coaching, training, and maintaining Buckle’s standards across sales, merchandising, and guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in retail preferred, with ability to train and develop Teammates.
• Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with legendary service and answer questions about store merchandise.
• Lead and coach Teammates, recruit and train new staff, and step in for Store Manager when needed.
• Manage store operations, including sales, merchandising, and visual standards.
• Ensure compliance with store policies for payments, exchanges, and losses.
• Drive sales goals and guest loyalty through effective coaching and leadership.
