Goodwill Southern Los Angeles County is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, drive sales, and lead a team in delivering outstanding donor and customer service. You will report to the Store Manager and help ensure compliance, merchandising, and productivity goals are met.

The role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends, with 1–2 years of retail or thrift experience and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years’ retail, thrift, or related experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Assists Store Manager in daily store operations, including sales leadership, merchandising, production, customer service, and training.
• Assists in achieving daily sales and operational goals in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Provide excellent service leadership to donors and customers; train staff accordingly.
• Drive sales by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff.
• Support safety, audits, and compliance; assist with scheduling, and performance feedback.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff; participate in interviews and onboarding.
