Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Huntsville, AL to lead daily store operations, coach the team, and ensure exceptional customer service. You will manage scheduling, training, and performance, while upholding brand standards and store policies.

The role requires hands-on leadership and a passion for retail excellence. You will oversee inventory, merchandising, and store presentation, and play a key role in achieving sales targets and delivering a positive shopping

Qualifications

• Produces sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is absent.
• Lead and train store associates using LIDS training programs and established goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and dress code while supporting a respectful team environment.
• Execute store operations directives and maintain safe, clean store conditions.
• Manage inventory processes including receiving, transfers, pricing changes, and counts.
• Support in scheduling and staffing to maintain proper store coverage.
